Take that OPC!

I have been to court today and successfully defended a private parking ticket issued by OPC ltd.

I was about the spread the good news on here, but you beat me to it! Well done, and lets hope that OPC get it in the neck for sending you those false magistrates court documents.

I notice that OPC is a BPA member. I wonder what they are going to do about it? Probably nothing knowing them.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Just want to add my congratulations mooki - very well done indeed!
I'm sure your experience, well rewarded efforts & tenacity in taking on these ***** & winning, will result in many more potential victims having the confidence to now do the same if it becomes necessary.

Somehow, I think it will be all quiet on the western front for quite a while.

Well done, and its on pepipoo as well as there is a thread about them.

Congratulations. Don't hold your breath for Perky to come back with any comment. Some troll or other is bound to describe it as an anomalous judgement etc etc or perhaps will even suggest that it was an MSE/Pepipoo/CAG set up.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

    Well done! :T

Just read about it on CAG and on pepipoo. Nice touch that you didn't tell them you are a Solicitor (and after all, why would you?) and they had to pay your costs as well.

BTW if anyone new and worried stumbles upon this thread, the VAST MAJORITY of PPCs never go anywhere near a Court, ever. They just threaten to, then give up. But it's very sweet to read about the odd occasion when a stupid PPC chances its arm and loses!

According to CAG, OPC have lost 5 out of 5 known cases, and have another couple of known cases that they are still dithering about. :rotfl:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OK. Who's making book that they either withdraw the claims or don't show up?

Aww, I was looking forward to that too!

C'mon, PPC trolls, where's all that confidence in making new MSE forum accounts now?
