I have been to court today and successfully defended a private parking ticket issued by OPC ltd.

Just read about it on CAG and on pepipoo. Nice touch that you didn't tell them you are a Solicitor (and after all, why would you?) and they had to pay your costs as well.
BTW if anyone new and worried stumbles upon this thread, the VAST MAJORITY of PPCs never go anywhere near a Court, ever. They just threaten to, then give up. But it's very sweet to read about the odd occasion when a stupid PPC chances its arm and loses!
According to CAG, OPC have lost 5 out of 5 known cases, and have another couple of known cases that they are still dithering about. :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
