Hi, I am complete novice to this and have previously sent away mini DV cassettes to a company to copy them onto a DVD, but would like to do it myself. I have a laptop with a DVD rewriter and the camcorder is a JVC mini DV one. I went to Currys and Comet to get the right 'wire' to connect camcorder to laptop, but they both…

I had'nt thought of the DVD recorder route. May be that will be better for me. Shame as I like a little project!!!
