Trying to print a Fire Risk Assessment so Gov. site
Will check drivers0 -
Drivers all up to date.
Don't know if its relevant but sometimes when I use my mouse to click on 'enter' or whatever I get like multiple clickings !!!
I then can't do anything except close out of internet explorer0 -
A few things you could try:
1. Restart the computer and try printing again. Also, if you are allowed to do so, power off and reboot the printer too. If it's a network printer you may not be able too of course.
2. Ensure you have the latest printer drivers.
3. If the document still causes errors when you try to print, have a colleague try to print it so a) you have the document printed and b) you can determine the error is isolated to your system.
Usually an error such as the one you describe is caused by a system low on available resources. You could also try closing other open documents and programs and try printing again.
If the error persists you may have a more serious problem, which, if this is workplace based, would require assistance from the IT team.
Hope that helps.
edit: Reading your last post, you may want to check your mouse settings too in the control panel and make sure they are set correctly. Also if IE is causing issues, try reinstalling it, or if using IE8, try viewing the site using the Compatibility Mode feature and print again.0 -
Have printed the document using another computer on the network so isolated it to my computer.
Have just done a free registry scan and fix and can now print the document !!!
Any idea what the multiple clicking could be ????
It has just happened when I clicked on post reply on here & I had to close out of IE to stop it.
By the way I am using XP & IE7 cos dont like IE8...0 -

Glad the printer issue is resolved. As for IE8, I would strongly advise upgrading to it, purely security wise though. Upgrading may also 'magically' fix the clicking issue you are experiencing.0 -
Mmmm I was having the same thought as well !!
Might have to upgrade.........
