Ahhhhh - help with tv/vid & dvd

Part of my money saving was to go back to NTL but when they installed they cocked up TV/DVD/Video leads & I have NO clue which lead/ariel goes where to make it all work (currently cant get video to work!). Can anyone help please?

You may need an aeriel 'passthrough' a little black box that bolts onto the NTL box that allows you to plug your aeriel into the digital box, it also allows you to record the terestrial channels on your video recorder.
The afforementioned forums are a little slow presently, so you may have to wait a while till they come back to full speed. But it's the best place to ask.

Its not an NTL problem as that bit is working fine - its just knowing chick scarts go to which bit (ie do I put scart from Tv to DVD & NTL then NTL to video?) IYKWIM? If noone knows will just have to phoen TTL but those someone truely techie may know as am sure its sooooo simple!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Ahh sorry, I got the impression that you had 2 aeriel leads and you couldn't plug them into the NTL box. Which is why I sugested cableforum as you would need an 'aeriel passthrough' a little box that plugs into the NTL box that may not be present on some of the NTL receivers.
Personally, regarding the scarts, I would get a scart block, plug the lot in, plug the lead from the scart block to the tv - hardly rocket science

do you NEED the video? if so your best option is another scart lead and a scart selector along the lines of this

connect all your scart leads to this and then that to the tv. connect your aeriel to the ntl box as instructed.0 -

Me too, that's why I used a scart block
