I'm getting a plumber to fit a new toilet and sink into our downstairs cloakroom. Will need a joiner to replace door and skirtings etc. Want flooring done and also some sort of pvc wall panels half way up the walls to cover missing tiles round sink and dirty wall behind loo. Anybody know what sequence they should be tackled in?
Should the door and door surround be done first so i can line up wall panels? Grr i aint got a scooby! Many thanks.

leave the door and surround until all the internals are done, that way you dont run the risk of your new door etc being knocked and/or damaged. Also gives the plumber, floor fitter more room to move if the old door is taken off.
Can old door not be re-used?0 -
Thanks. Not keeping door, not keeping anything in house realy. Cowboy diy man throughout! If i say this diy man re-done all the skirtings, doors, etc and used the cheapest and nastiest of woods and put them up with different nails, screws and glue and padded bits round the door with crisp packets and cereal boxes does that give u an idea why im not keeping nothing! Having to rip kitchen out and bathroom upstairs out, just dont get me started. Basically if it looks ok then he thought its a job well done.:mad:Don't do high street shops anymore:mad:
