NISSAN Primera Query

I drive a Nissan Primera V-Reg, 51,000 milage and lately have noticed that when I stop at a signal, the engine just cuts off and I have to restart the car again.

No problems whilst driving the car. I then took the car to my garage (where I service the car every year) and checked it through the computer and it can out as 'NO ERRORS'.

What could the fault be???

Please help!!

I had a the same problem with a Honda Stream. It started after the battery ran down and I jump started it. Apparently this affected the ECU which controls the idle speed among many other things. For the Honda there is an easy way to reset the ECU -- that didn't work. Took some time and money for the dealer to sort it.

Try googling 'Nissan Primera faulty idle speed stalling' and also look at the owners club at https://www.nissanprimera.net
