Hi I've got tickets for Paul McCartney in Hyde Park. I've never been to a concert there before & was wondering if any one had used the VIP packages & are they worth it?
Is the VIP grandstand worth it? & is the 'Chill Out Area' really CoOL !
Thx

Hi there. I'm seeing Paul at Hyde Park too. The grandstand area is set back to the right hand side of the main stage, so the people at the front of the main crowd will have a better view than you.
The benefits of the VIP package are that you get a seat for the day, separate entrance and facilities including the chill zone! Can't say how cool it is, because when I've been to Hyde Park before, I've always bought the general admittance tickets.
It depends on what kind of concert experience you want or if you have problems standing for long periods. A general admittance ticket will save you money and mean you can have a true festival experience among the crowd standing/dancing. Or if you want to splash out on a VIP ticket, you'll still have a decent view and a seat for the day, but be slightly set back from the action.
Found this picture on-line, which shows you the view from the VIP seats: flickr.com/photos/samdunn/3663482561/
Hope that helps! Let us know what you decide!Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A
