If, at least, demoted, electronic access to the DVLA database would be lost.
Then they just get another ppc to do it for them.

The point is that at the moment the BPA have the ear of the government. If they can be shown to be unable or unwilling to act up to the standards they themselves have set then the government's ear will be turned. Like it or not we have to play the game to show this so-called "industry" up for what it is.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I agree with this, we need to report the scam companies each and every time to the BPA for every misdemeanour. Nothing may appear to be done about our reports but let's just keep doing so, with any private tickets we have received.

And we need to remember to start advising newbies to complain about their PPC tickets as well (there's always something that will contravene the BPA code, no PPC gets it right).

Each complaint 'should' be recorded somewhere by the BPA and then the number of complaints they have to deal with - and should have to disclose when the Government focus on this subject again - will be huge. On the other hand if they don't record all the complaints and act on them then they will be failing to apply their own published scale of sanctions.

Either scenario is a win-win situation for us, surely, so we need to get reporting! :D

The BPA (and the SIA) certainly have too much credibility that they do not deserve, and this will be dangerous as and when regulation of private parking does come in.

The BPA decided to introduce this scheme to deal with complaints with sanctions - so we need to give them those complaints, even though we think very litttle of the BPA.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

One company that should certainly reported is OPC. A recent court case showed that they had been sending out documents pretending to be from a magistrates court.

Doubtless true. Probably how a clamper threatened to harm my wife (not present), using her first name. I had been using her car!

Also when seeing the clamper operating without a licence another clamping firm arrived, threatened us, and helped the b****ds escape.

Don't even ask what the police did...................
