Where to sell videos & music cassettes?

Hi
Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I had a major clearout today and stuck heaps of stuff on ebay but I also found a couple of boxes of music cassettes, videos and books. The books I can either stick on ebay or sell on amazon but is there really a market for videos and cassettes and where would be the best place to sell them? Are there companies who buy this stuff in bulk or would I be better off just donating to a charity shop?
Thanks

Car boot sales?
Otherwise the charity shop.0 -
Thanks, I did think about a car boot sale but the last time I did one I had folk haggling over really cheap things. Like a jigsaw I wanted 10p for someone offered 5p and it just got annoying after a while! I also thought about going to somewhere like cash convertors but I don't know if they take videos anymore but I will phone them on Monday to find out.0

i had this same dilema yesterday , cleared out bookshelf and now have 18 books (mixture of hd & pb's , some unread , some worn) had a quick look on ebay to gauge the value and realised that i would probably only get around £10 -£12 for them,i know it's still £10-£12 but decided that rather than run down to post office 18 times posting them (probably cost £10 in fuel)......... if they sold , I'll just drop them into charity shop next time we're passing ."The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."
happy travels !!

If there is anything decent then put them as individual lots on ebay - put the rest as a bulk purchase.
Alternatively just give them to a charity shopAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I take old CD's and things that don't sell on eBay down to our local Music and Video exchange shop. Have no idea where you live, but am sure there's one near you - failing that often market stalls buy second hand goods to re-sell. Cassettes are retro, and despite most people having a CD player or MP3 these days, many people seem to still just have tape players in their cars, especially the older folk.0

I recommend the car boot sale option, especially if you have other stuff you want to clear. I would mention however that there are usually loads of videos for sales at car boot markets now a days so don't expect to get to much for them. We sold most of our videos at 50p each and made (along with other stuff) over £40 on the day just from selling our old junk. Not a lot I know but better than nothing.0

I've heard good things about http://www.greenmetropolis.com/ for selling books, though I haven't used them myself yet.
