has anyone else had problems with kia sedona. my car was a day off being a year old when the clutch failed. RAC took it to the garage they said the slave valve has gone and they would replace it under warranty. while we there another couple were complaining about there sedona. they said there slave cylinder was renewed 4 weeks ago and 2 weeks later the clutch went.and there car is still in the garage. kia have given them a hire car. they said customer service is terrible. i phoned them but they are not interested. will never buy a kia again.

bit soon for the clutch to go (asuming theres no contributing factors)
maybe worth shouting louder but clutches are a wear and tear item
kia will probably put it down to your driving. no offence intended

So the slave cylinder has gone and they're replacing it under warranty?

    Problem?

Yes it's unusual but I've heard of worse and at least they're sorting it....

Friends wife had a one on an X plate, and funnily enough the slave cylinder went on that, amongst other things over the relatively short time she had it, so they got rid of it, and she's now got something smaller.
That's my mutt in the picture above.
  • I had a 2006 model (2.9gs), lots of minor problems to begin with fixed under warranty with no issues from main dealer but sold it a few months back as i was concerned long term
