sky hd recording fault??

hello all,
we recently brought a sky hd box which wasn't brand new but was told it was in very good condition. since having it we have tried recording stuff and some programs seem fine but others some being only part record are not working properly, when clicking on it the watch it gives us an error messaga saying (recording interupted please wait) and even after waiting it still wont come on.
so is there anyone out there who can help with this? is it a fault with the box?

have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving

we've had the same problem every now and then, we have to do a reboot, lucky there's so mant repeats lol0

it may be a case of u giving sky a ring as it sounds like the card needs repairing to the box again0

Hi,
I thought I would mention that we had a similar issue with our sky+ box and I actually thought our box was knackered BUT I called sky+ and the guy said that it was most likely just a defrag that the box needed (similar to defragging your hard drive on your pc)
It took about 2 minutes to do, sorry i can't remember exactly how we got into the hidden item in the menu but a quick call should sort you out.
No recordings were lost during the process either.

To do a planner rebuild on SKY HD its:-
SERVICES
ZERO
ZERO
ONE
Left
Left
Select
Select
The box will then reboot / reset after 2-5 mins.0 -
thank you so much guys sorry for delay but i've been in hospital with my son since i posted this.
I have rang sky up and she also said it was because the card needs pairing up with the new box and seems ok so far.
my old sky plus box kept freezing and having errors and they had to keep doing that defrag thingy but was annoying as everytime i lost all recordings so hopfully new box will be okhave now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0
