spiralling debts are getting me down

think thats similar with my CRB as i've had loads of addresses over the past 5 years. I did get told they are snowed under with all the school leavers applying for jobs and needing a CRB. The last one i had took about 3 months but that was last year. Hopefully it won't be long before i can start though .. then i can get the payments back on track!

you shouldn't use it until they have had your application for 6 weeks but then you can call every single week (sometimes twice a week on work's phone btw) and try and get the same person each time. Also, after a certain amount of time of hassling, they will escalate it.

Anyways - could you not temp until you can start if you can't bring the start date forward? What is the job btw?

the job is a probation service officer, i'll be working with cocaine/heroin users in the police stations .. there shouldn't be any kids involved as its supposed to be only over 18's but that may change

registered with temping agencies but they are useless round here .. doesn't seem to be much work going on a short temp basis!

Hey Vik... We are in the same line of biz then.. I was allowed to start though, only recently got my CRB and started in April... I think its up to your specific HR maybe ??
