No Snaggs His house is PERFECT cause he does all the work on it,
Lmc- Thats what Jo accross the road said, he must live in a slum too cause its an area not a house, I can see his point to a reason cause our back garden is a bit of a mess and needs a major clean up, and our bathroom and kitchen is in a stateBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

Claire it doesn't matter if your back garden is a mess and some of your room's aren't perfect. What matters is that it's a home more than a house and it's filled with love, laughter and a happy environment for your sons.
Ok it might not be achievable all the time but as long as your kids are happy and healthy that's the most important thing.
I grew up in a house with a messy kitchen, a bathroom prone to damp and nothing was ever spotless, but it was home and even though I've got my own home, I still do call my parents house my home. As it's full of some very good memories and some not so happy - but that's life!

I know that I will build some very good memories in my current home with my OH.
Oh a more posititive note, I've handed in my first assignment. One down 7 more to go!

Aww thankyou for those lovely words,
Yes my boys are loved and well fed and looked after, and they seem happy enough, both have been off school today ill, but spend the morning with me in the kitchen wiping the mould from the walls, we have to leave it 2 weeks to dry out then we can repaint it and it will look good again.
The bathroom is going to be done in the next few months too, once we can save enough money, Its going to be done not only so it looks nice, but the bath is being taken out and a shower cubicle is being put in (more for my benefit than anyone elses) and the same person who has very kindly fixed my roof for peanuts is going to help us out again and do it.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
No problem Claire.
Doing a house up takes time and is costly.
My parents are only just gettiing round to doing up their bathroom and kitchen, as they are in a financial position to do so.
When my brother and I were growing up they made sure we didn't go without, even if it meant that they sacrificed nights out or some new clothes. And I will always be grateful.
I expect your neighbour if he has kids, doesn;t let them play in the living room or their bedrooms and everything has to be perfect! that doesn't make a home.
I shall step off my soap box now, as I'm hitting my head on the lampshade!!
