There was a competition on here a month or so ago...it was a camelot one to Nice I think...and the same thing, it was a different URL and people started worrying it was dodgy. I called National Lottery and they said they were running the competition but it was only for people they had sent the email out to and that's why it was a different URL. It was the same as this, where you did just have to enter your email address. So not necessarily "daft, gullible punters"....
Started Comping May 2009...2009 total: £995. 2010 total: £5541. 2011 total: £4835. 2012 total: £6220 2021 total (restarted Oct 2021): £1000 2022 total - £44
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions :T0 -

Hi Weeowen...I'm pretty sure it was deleted because camelot had said that it was only for people who had received the email and so at the time I asked the BGs to delete it...have looked and can't find it so assume that's what happened...

I have now received another email that I am pretty much certain is from Camelot, which amongst other things reminds me about this comp.0

Hover your mouse over any links in the mail, and if any are not from the official Camelot/Lotto site then delete the mail.
Alternatively, give your money in whatever form they ask for it to the scammer, and then come back and post to ask why you can't get it back.
Seriously, clicking on links in emails can be dangerous.0 -
I've dug around a little more & found that "ioko" has appeared on here in the past here
I'm sure they have appeared elsewhere on here recently as I did not use the comps board when the above was posted.I get the feeling that they are providing IT/Media services to Camelot.
Confirmed here
