    Right, ok.........

First off, can I just pick my chin up offuv the floor!

    I mean, HUBBA HUBBA LADIES!!!

I'm not sure I've been in the company of as many attractive people in 1 go before!

Sue, wanna drop the "single" from your user name?;)

Viva I wasn't quick enough to catch you.

fc123 I don't know why, I didn't have you down as blonde (but the hubba hubba remains!)

The last few pages have been well & truly, erm, eye opening (& jaw dropping!) We know what to talk about now to get cleaver involved in a thread too from now on.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Am I alone in considering the fashion merits of the stockings? They look a little baggy and of too high a denier to me.

Stockings are great when you have no extra flesh. When you do hav extra two things happen, they magically become rally uncomfortable.....(that was a shock o me) and ones thighs start to resemble pork joints above the stockings.

I really miss stockings: far more mse that tights: not only d they ladder less, but when thy do ladder, you can replace just the laddered leg.

I have tried neither, but I'm partial to a pork joint, so the image isn't entirely distasteful...... Just found a good source of Gloucester Old Spot here. :)

What a glorious morning! Spring is springing with a vengeance today.

    ROFL.

Its sublime isn't it? The gun dogs I walk were jubilant this morning, the old one ran and ran and ran, outplaying all the young'uns. Mine have only been out in the garden so far but are getting a trip out this afternoon.

Back in the late 1970s, I was taught a method with tights where you cut the leg off two laddered pairs below where the top "pants" type section finished and you can still wear them by putting them both on, but with one pair on the other way round. Works great, arguably holds one in a bit, but doesn't look that great when you take them off. It doesn't work on tights that are sheer to the top with just a small gusset though.

I hasten to add I haven't used said method since I left school, but it was a great way to make your pocket money last longer (while doing what all teenage girls do and attempting to look older).

I'm off shortly for a long walk in the woods. Its so lovely and sunny here, yet still it will only be my family and me up there - most others don't make an effort as you have to walk up a hill to get there. See you later!

Lovely day here too but I'm stuck inside taking a short break from some really appalling essays I'm marking - feeling sad as I know lots of them are going to fail the course. It's a little insight into quite how little ability some people have to think logically; it's one of those things you take for granted, and everyone on here can at least attempt it and usually achieve it. But some of my current batch of students just can't. I feel sad for them as they're hard-working and nice, on the whole. But some of them have clearly not the faintest idea of how to construct an essay, despite several weeks trying to hammer it in. :(

Looks like you lot all had fun last night, after I disappeared to do some research re my daughter's school application; not fun, but I had to get round to it, so easier to do whilst kids are in bed...

I do feel like I'm wandering in a strange land where I on't get any of the references; I don't watch any soaps, or much TV at all - maybe 1 prog every couple of weeks, literally?, so I just have no idea who all the ladies posing in stockings are.

Still, nice to see some gender equality on the thread - we've had our fair share of male pin-ups, so it seems only fair... :)

Today I have to shout at myself NOT TO PROCRASTINATE....as working online again trying to sort something out that looks dire.

So, changed the avatar back to me and the cat edited by DD in an arty style and I am not going to faff around for 5 hours....but concentrate, focus ;-) and finish what I was meant to do this weekend.

Then I will go for a 50 lngth swim @ 5pm, cook some dinner and DD and OH driving back down from Londodn later on this evening.
..and wash the school uniform and mop the kitchen floor as a break inbetween.
Sun pouring into my leaky sunlounge and the sea is pale blue and silver today.
