I spend my whole working life speaking "corporate".
It's just shorthand.
There are actually real people behind all the cliches and jargon.
If you aren't going for a customer facing job PN it is absolutely acceptable to say you are useless at interviews and then dazzle them with your ability to actually do the job.
Any interviewer for a largish company just wants someone who can do the job and wont give them any grief0 -

Tell them what else you can do, with some embellishment (it is a job interview after all), but you have a great piece of evidence to back it up.0 -
Shame someone snapped her with a ripped dress in the first picture. I'm so pleased she's had a chance to get it replaced now. Mind you, you can see why it ripped.
Are they the same person?
Is that dress really ripped or a joke?
And, I have NO idea who that is.0 -
Just at the moment I am unsuccessfully trying to find silent bras - ie where the underwire doesn't squeak every time you move. I also need them without lace etc because my skin is sensitive to anything remotely scratchy. Why is this so difficult to find? Do the rest of the female population not mind squeaking? Any of you ladies (or indeed gents) have any suggestions?
I use seemless moulded t-shirt type bras. I have a thing about visable nipples, Bravissimo is good and no squeaking. I honestly have never noticed squeaking when I move. Could yor size be wrong hence the squeaking?MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Now we just need to get lemonjelly to contribute to the thread and see whether s/he talks about the women or the clothes.
Here I am!
I'm not gonna talk about either!:p
What I will say, is that I've thanked virtually no posts in the past 3 pages, because I abhor BB!
I'm not going to start, because I get all white horse about it.
I have started reading this yesterday:
Been fascinated by the first 5 chapters. Have struggled to put it down.
For those who are interested, he is a US crime writer, who escaped a life of crime/prison life. He was picked by Tarantino to be in Reservoir Dods, as well as other film appearances.
In other news, yesterday I had a lovely day out, and rediscovered the joy that is frisbee!:T Hadn't played with one for years. Spent most of yesterday playing with one.
Avoiding the obvious innuendo (!:o!), what toy haven't you played with for a while?:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Lovely, DD10 is back and accusing me of unfair moderation.
Sigh, when do I get to be a BNP waving supporter again? I seriously don't understand how locking a few threads is enough to cause so much vile bile from some people. I've had enough for tonight now.0 -

DD is probably one of the nastiest characters I have ever come across on the net. And given the creeps that crawl around the digital highway that takes some doing.
Don't allow him to upset you.
He gets off on upsetting women.Retail is the only therapy that works0
