    2. Yes I do. But it's all a bit dull pre-election.

My theme for the evening - um...my son was just violently sick. Anyone else done anything else more fun with their evening than scrub sick off the wall/carpet and avoid a huge and v dull pile of marking? (La la la fingers in ears, maybe it will go away...)

Had a quick couple of pints in my now reopened local but that was out of boredom. Cooked Mrs. P a nice meal. Had a game of Scrabble and bemoaned that fact that we can`t get any interest at the moment which would be handy as things are slack.

No sick here tonight, but I too am avoiding a huge and v dull pile of marking. What are you avoiding? I have one class of nuclear power stations and one of electric motors.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I actually had a rather interesting discussion on the subject of disclosure of previous convictions... which pretty much led on to: should there be a minimum IQ required in order to set up facebook goups

...which then led on to 'isn't that silly b!tch off cbeebies 'I CAN COOK' really, really, horribly, bossy...' ...

PS, I was only really bothered about this foum 'cos I thought, with the armegeddon predictions of 12/18 months ago, that one day (!) I might actually be able to buy a house. I've now turned bull- I won't. So I don't care anymore

I spent all day in a really, really boring meeting and then most of tonight saving a marriage.

    I'm exhausted.

Glad the twists and turns of the economy brought you to our shores, so to speak.

I really, really hope you're wrong on the house price thingy.

Oh, BTW, I agree with you about that woman off I CAN COOK. She annoys the hell out of me too. DS adores her - I think he rather likes strong mother figures. Which is fine, when you're 3. :)

OK - can someone make me go away now, please?

I promised I'd give back this load of essays tomorrow (about 25  left to mark). Make me do it. I don't want to be up till midnight doing it, but I JUST CAN'T FACE IT.

IT'S SO DULL YOU CANNOT IMAGINE. :(

You have no idea how absolutely interesting you are by comparison. :A
