I moved out of my previous property mid feb, I'm still waiting for my final bill from Swalec. I log onto my bank account this evening and discover that they tried to take £205 out of my account. I nearly had a heart attack. What the hell...
I'm going to call them first thing in the morning because I'm really confused. This winter I went without heating to avoid silly costs such as this. Is there a chance they could be wrong? I'm genuinely shocked. I was expecting to get some money back from them lol

You should cancel the direct debit when closing an account,you need to get your final bill and check it against your final meter reading0
