Hi Folks
Ive got a spare wireless router which im trying to use as a wireless bridge for my xbox . My setup at the min is a wireless router which connects to dsl and i use the wireless end of it for my pc . Now ive got a spare wireless router , lets call it router b . Ok ive configured router b as a static address 192.168.0.5 and my main dsl router has a ip of 192.168.0.1 and my pc uses 192.168.0.2 as assigned my router A . Problem is i cant get router A to see router B .
any support would be great .
p.s - ive already switched of the dhcp on router b . Im sure it can be done but its starting to do my head in now

What models are the routers? Some can't be used as bridges.0

Thwe router im trying to use as a bridge is a actiontech gt701-wru. The other is a netgear but it has to stay as the main router cause its adsl and im on bt . The other is a cable router , since im only interested in using the wireless end of the actiontech i assume it should be ok if i can figure out how to do it .
thanks for any help forthcomingsomething missing0 -
Afraid to say that both routers do not support WDS, hence, there is no way that you could connect them wirelessly. There're only few cheap routers out there that support WDS.0
