I've just booked flights with ba for my parents to tenerife next march for a cost of £90 each. Well i actually paid £177.60 for the 2 of them.
This is a thur to thur flight but they also have some other cheapies for different days.

In the interests of completeness, British Airways do not fly to Tenerife, from Manchester or elsewhere. The service will be operated by BA Connect using a GB Airways aircraft, in BA colours. Confused?!
The upshot is that the onboard service is not the same and will, in effect, be low cost (ie your parents will have to pay for food and drink)
I hope they have a great holiday - Tenerife is fantastic0 -
GB Airways are always changing their flight times https://lfn.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/lfn.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2324&p_created=1152542486&p_sid=2G-N2adi&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD03JnBfcHJvZHM9JnBfY2F0cz0mcF9wdj0mcF9jdj0mcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9ubCZwX3BhZ2U9MQ**&p_li=&p_topview=1
So don't book these too far in advance
The on board menu is here http://www.britishairways.com/cms/masterEN/content/product_information/cabin_products/connect/bac_menu.pdf
These low fares are also available from EMA and BRS via this £10 off link http://www.britishairways.com/travel/fx/public/en_gb/cugalias-qw669?source=CUG_qw669&eId=111042&BAHPromo_Code=BATS&ADREF=tactical_uk__baemail_BATS15SB
Good fares available from LGW where they also fly to TFN. Code TCI includes TFN and TFS airports.

We flew to Tenerife last summer with BA (GB airways) and all meals and drinks were included. (I made full use of the free drinks by the way!)
Have they changed their T&C's?
We are flying out with them again next week, for a month so I'll let you know what the service was like and if it has changed!
I agree WiseInvestor, Tenerife is fantastic! This will be our 5th time in 3 years! It is a beautiful Island!Sexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

Is that good or bad?0

I suppose that depends on how you like to spend your time onboard. If you like to sleep or look out of the window for 4 hours then I guess the new service won't affect you.
If, on the other hand, you were hoping for a bite to eat with a gin & tonic then you'll be slightly disappointed - or at least your pocket will.0 -
For that price i will be happy with sleeping and i don't mind buying a vodka tonic.0
