Park Homes

WE have reached that time in life when we need to seriously consider 'DOWN SIZING' our home.
One option we are considering is a 'Park Home' on a registered site, however, it has been commented that these dwellings do not hold their value and are a bad buy.
The one we are interested in is a Lissett Home and is already six years old.
Can anyone provide comments on their experience with this type of home and any resale values?
Regards
Woko.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Also, quite often Park Home Owners do not like older units and you have to upgrade after ten -fifteen years.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Thanks for comments received to day. The home we are considering is already on an established site and of various ages - but I take the point made0

Many do not allow you to live there 365 days of the year. Often, you have to vacate for a few weeks. Check this out carefully as you may have to take a 6 week holiday once every year.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
