Airport Lounge discounts

Hi,

As anyone got any discount links or codes for airport lounges?

Thanks.

Best I can find is the Matalan 10% off link. I keep seeing forum entries mentioning 2 for £30 or 20% off but they are all PM'd links.

Ive been in quite a few airport lounges throughout the UK/world. I have to be honest, the best tend to be the airline lounges like Virgin Clubhouse. The Servisair lounges which seem to be the ones you pay to get into are really pretty lame and just not worth the added expense.
Perhaps it is the whole 'status' side of being in the lounge, i do not know. When waiting for a flight time does seem to stand still, my advice would be rather than pay to gain access to an over priced lounge just arrive at the airport later. Get through security and to your gate, wait 5 mins then board the flight.

But sometimes these lounges what one pays to get into are the very same lounges many airlines use for their premium passengers - particularly at regional airports.

I have been in a few airline lounges around the world, however, some are fine - others less so - EK and KL in Dubai and Amsterdam respectively come to mind.

To be honest, I think 16 - 20 quid is not bad for Servisair and the likes and by booking directly, you get on their mailing list and you occasionally receive discount codes via email.

OK, their food is limited, however, the choice of drinks are reasonable and the price alone is worth the peace and quiet of the generic departure areas - but that is my opinion.

my opinion tooI know you are a fan of VS's T3 offering (but I'll stick to BA at T5 ;) ), but they are a million miles ahead of the very limited offerings of pay-to-enter lounges.
