Hi All,

Gardeners world starts again this Friday, 8.30pm on BBC2 (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland only).
Saturday 5.30pm in Wales.

Episode 1
1/27. Toby recommends snowdrops and tomatoes, while Joe Swift gets the fruit garden under way.

I know it's not like it used to be, but hopefully there will be some good tips for newbies like me ! Last year I recorded it and fast forwarded through the bits that weren't relevant to me!

I hope this helps someone!
2009 - Attempting to grow my own Kitchen garden..... :o did it!!!
2010 - Attempting to make my garden a beautiful place for dd2 to enjoy!

Still got "Carol from Glebe Cottage" :(

Why do the BBC still spend ££ trecking to Devon to film 3 minutes of this woman's rainbow hair. Alys can do more!

That made me laugh Furny as I thought the same about 3 years ago when I started getting into gardening! But over the last few years it has given me lots of tips although like Megansmum I usually record it and fast forward through all the (IMO) boring bits :)

Same here - I'm glad I'm not the only one - I usually watch 15 - 20 minutes of the whole program.
They are on about changing it back to be more like it used to be (thanks ScratchandSniff-->[X]) - can't come soon enough!
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Funny - I used to like watching it with my parents!! But then they ran a market garden, had a huge veg patch plus it was Geoff Hamilton in those days - what a wonderful presenter he was - sigh.

I realised how old I was getting last night, when I was chatting to a old school friend about Masterchef, 15 years ago we were two teenagers talking about Quamtum leap, girls, football...etc, Now I find myself getting excited about Gardens World.
Just text my mate about GW and it's made his day too
