3 quotes for roof valley repair

Hi
I have received 3 quotes for a repair to my roof. All 3 companies agree that the leak in the house is due to defective roof valleys at the front of the house. We need two valleys replaced.
I found three local companies from the NFRC website.
Quotes are :
1) Erect scaffold and strip out and renew with code 4 lead both valleys. Renew/repair all broken tiles as necessary - £1395 + VAT
2) Strip and and renew with code 4 lead both valleys. repair/replace all broken tiles. Use a scaffold tower - £720 + VAT (Trustmark members)
3) Strip and renew with 12 gauge zinc both valleys. Repair/replace any broken tiles.
£ 520 + VAT (Trustmark members)
So a big difference in price between the highest and lowest quote. Is lead better than zinc ? It might last longer but I only care about next 15 years at the most.
Can anyone advise please.
TIA
Steve

I'm inclined to go for lead rather than zinc.
Whoever you choose make sure you get a copy of their insurance and get 3 contactable references. See examples of similar work they have done.0 -
Scaffold is about 6-700 so the others might not use it. Lead £200, tiles £2 each0

Went for the zinc replacements in the end. The original ones were zinc and they have lasted around 70 years.
