    Syed,

As Immoral pointed out, do you not pay an insurance / tax / mot etc on your car?

And can you not reduce your phone bill to say £10 - £15 (PAYG) till you sort yourself out?

Do you not have any other expenses except gym?

I know you trying your utmost and I appreciate it must be hard work considering you gaining experience but can you not get a part time job at say tesco over the weekends or work at bar at night or something like that? I think if you manage to get 15 - 20 hours of paid work a week this should almost double your income (I am not sure about the implications on your JSA but am guessing you would lose your JSA)

i could get a weekend job but if i work more than 16 hours a week i lose my jsa .. on time i needed some money asap so i done some hospitality work at a football ground for a day and lost my jsa for some reason but got back on it 3 weeks later.

I've got about 1 year and 3 months experience in retail but i hated it:mad:

Assuming you get a job at £6ph and work 14 hours a week (8 on saturday and 6 on sunday - which I believe is pay and a half, so that's 9 hours of wage) that is c£100 pw.

If you keep your JSA, you have trebled your income and looking at your expenses, even if you spend £200 pm, you would be debt free (except for your student loan of course) within 5 months!!

Sometimes [STRIKE]beggars[/STRIKE] people in debt can't really be choosers mate!!

    It's your call!

the retail job is not meant to replace your graduate job... it's just something to tick you over and make sure that you have an income coming in whilst you look for a full time graduate job (plus you can use the fact that you had an unpaid job just to gain experience and a retail job to keep you going i.e. working 7 days to show that you are driven and a go getter!!)... but dont forget the retail job is just a temp and a part time solution...

glad to be of some help!! :D

    good luck!! :)

True the p/t time is a means to help me out but it aint permanant its just a way to become debt free .. another thing is a got a 2:2 degree thats also holding me back as the companies require a 2:1 ..

thanks for the good luck mate ..

    Debt-free and Proud!
I agree with previous posters for now you need `some` kind of employment!
Albeit a cleaning job or clearing trolleys at tesco etc.
A job is a job and you will beable to clear debts quicker then relying on JSA.
