My Rugs are alive...

Had some lovely new wool carpet fitted & now my rugs are walking around the room... have tried heavy duty sticky 'rug fix' but no good.... anyone any better ideas.... have about 8 rugs to secure so something economical would be good.
Cheers!

Sticky back velcro. You can buy it in strips from Wilkinsons. You will probably need the 'hook' side rather than the other bit.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
  • Have you tried turning the rugs the other way around?

I have heard that carpets have a pile and if your rugs are crawling they might be the 'wrong' way round, turning them around so they are going against the grain, might help.

IKEA do a rubber undermat that's made in a mesh design that has good traction against wood or lino floors. I think you cut it to size.

I used double sided tape under my bedside rugs and I spent hours getting the stuff off when the sticky wore off.
