I use the old non-sky+ type of control.
I have got skybox connected to TV via scart, and dvd/vcr combi connected to second scart socket on skybox. The set up work fine excepy when I press the blue sky button at the top of my remote it switches my TV to channel 6, I set this ages ago when wasn't using scart as this was the channel the box was tuned to.
Channel six is just a snowstorm, and after a few seconds the tv automatically switches to "euroscart" and all is well.
Does anyone know how I can program the sky remote so that it no longer tries to change the TV channel away from scart. We live down in a valley with poor analogue reception so haven't even go an aerial plugged in and skybox via scart is the only way of viewing.

The remotes say to get new batteries in within 10 mins of removing the old, perhaps if you leave the batteries out for long enough the remote will revert to default settings.
Or just use the guide here:
