Hi ,
I have dual fuel with Eon on the Price Protection r3 deal.
Is it a good time to find someone cheaper? Who is the cheapest about at the moment? Is the Eon Fixed Online 6 the best the Eon do?

Hi beanieboy01,
Price Protection R3 was the tariff you automatically got placed on when your old Capped tariff ended recently. This is standard procedure, when a certain tariff ends we offer a like for like tariff.
This R3 tariff is more expensive than the Capped tariff you were previously on and there are other offers from E.ON and other suppliers that may suit your needs better.
FixOnline is currently the best tariff we can offer, this does require online account management and Direct Debit so may not suit everyone, it will depend on your individual requirements.
I’d get your annual usage in kWh and pop the information into a comparison site or two to see what tariff will be best for you.
Cleosmum,
As above R3 replaced your old Capped product, this doesn’t have a cancellation fee so you’re not bound to stay on it. It does come at a premium as the price is protected from any increase until 1 May 2011. So there will be cheaper tariffs out there if you shop around.
