A bit more info on easycruise Two

Together with its second vessel easyCruise unveils an exciting new look and upgraded onboard facilities. Starting in August, easyCruiseTwo will sail weekly itineraries along the rivers and canals of Holland and Belgium from Amsterdam to Rotterdam, Brussels, Antwerp and back. Following the successful easyCruise concept, easyCruiseTwo will arrive in a new and exciting destination by lunchtime each day so that passengers have the freedom to spend most of the day and night ashore. Sailing during the early hours of the morning, the younger crowd can enjoy the nightlife in some of Europe’s top cities. In addition, passengers can join and leave the cruise where and when they wish, subject to a minimum two night stay.
All passenger cabins on easyCruiseTwo are outside with a window and in response to customer demand more outside cabins will also be opened up on easyCruiseOne during its refit at the end of October 2006. easyCruiseTwo has 50 twin cabins with en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a canopied sun deck with an outdoor hot tub, a bar and restaurant. The riverboat is 80 metres long and carries 100 passengers and a crew of 15. easyCruiseTwo is the first easyCruise vessel to be operated by a franchisee - formerly the ‘M.S. Frontera', the riverboat is owned and operated by Boonstra River Line and will be refurbished to the a easyCruise standard before entering service.

Don't forget to take with you a few rolls of extra thick kitchen roll and sticky tape to cover up the orange in the cabin, avoids the shock of waking up with all that orange! http://info.easycruise.com/gb/ships/cabins.html#

    Easycruise2 is abit less orange

easyCruise today (27th July) unveiled its new look, which is set to make its first public appearance on easyCruise’s second vessel easyCruiseTwo, which will sail through Holland and Belgium from 11th August.

From the outside, easyCruiseTwo will bear a striking new logo and where once the orange prevailed, the vessel now boasts a colour scheme of graphite grey with orange trim. The transformation continues inside, with a stunning restaurant and bar plus a new colour scheme in the cabins, which all have windows. The brainchild of Netherlands premier designer, Jan Des Bouvrie, the design is in answer to the public’s feedback of easyCruise having ‘too much orange’ and adds a sophisticated, dynamic look to the easyCruise concept.

Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyCruise commented: “easyCruiseTwo has been designed in answer to our customers’ requests. The orange that was so prominent on easyCruiseOne has gone, every cabin has a window and the facilities we now offer allow guests to have as much fun on board the vessel as they do on land. The new livery reflects the aspirations and sophistication of our passengers and therefore offers younger consumers a true alternative to traditional cruising, allowing them to sample the delights of Europe and beyond at a price unheard of in the cruise industry.”

easyCruiseTwo offers you the chance to relax on the large canopied sun deck or in one of the two hot tubs or if you are feeling hungry, the new, 90 seater ‘World Café’ will cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner, late into the evening. The menu includes a whole host of delicious meals that are sure to get your mouth watering, from local specialities such as Moules Frites to international dishes including Seared Chicken Olivada and Chinese Mustard Glazed Hake as well as a range of light meals, salads, pizzas and desserts.

Alternatively you can enjoy a drink at the new cocktail bar where there’s plenty of choice, from champagne, wine and cocktails to speciality coffees and a selection of local beers such as Leffe Blond and Frankziskaner Weiss. Or if you are the energetic type, you can visit the fully equipped gym or dance to the sounds of the resident DJ who won’t stop until you do. Then retire to one of the 52 cabins (twins, doubles, bunks or quads), each with window plus en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC.

Unlike any other cruise, easyCruise gives you the freedom to explore each destination at your leisure. Sailing each morning, easyCruise arrives in a new port by lunchtime allowing guests to enjoy the day and nightlife in some of Europe’s top cities until at least 2am. In addition, you can join and leave the cruises where and when they wish, subject to a minimum two night stay.
