A fortnight ago, Mr T's Finest yogurts[delicious], normally 65p per 150gm pot, were on offer @ 6 for £2 - customary yellow/black SELS.
Another shopper urged me to try them, normally out of her budget range, said she. Mine ditto.
Returned for more last Fri/ Mon and see yellow/black labels, looking as before, until reading '5 for £3 - 68p per 150gm pot.'
I wanted to ask everyone who scooped them from the shelves if they thought they were repeat buying on previous week's terms....

They've been doing this for years, on all sorts of things - best thing is always to check the offer before you buy!! If an offer is very good I always try to stock up on the first week because you can't even be sure it is going to last as long as it says it will on the SEL! Then I look out when the offer is over just to see if any of the SELs are left, always hoping for a DTD!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I buy those yogurts all the time from Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys and the price is unbelievably volatile and always has been. They'll swing from 8 for £2 to 65p each in the space of a week. Experience tells me that anything less than 50p/pot is a good price, 33p/pot is a bit of a bargain and at 25p/pot I'm carrying them out by the tray.0

Tescos are business and can change their prices and offers at any time. Just like any business. Not sure why you call it dodgy?
It is up to the customer to check the prices and offer labels.
Don't take any thing for granted as a customer and never assume any one supermarket is the cheapest or the best.
And no I don't work for Tescos and I have no connection with them at all or any supermarket. All supermarkets are the same. They think that customers are stupid and a lot of them are. They don't check prices and just chuck the same thing in the trolley week after and after with out checking the prices. Who then moan like anything because their food bills are so high.
I am always looking for best value (not the cheapest)which means looking at all the labels. And checking prices in my mental price book.

Promotions, offers, gimmicks all come under the same umbrella.
Supermarkets deliberately manipulate prices to boost sales. It is not unusual to see 52p each or 2 for £1.00. The customer is rarely aware that they are only saving 4p. Mind you, £1.14 for 250g "I can't believe it's not butter" but 2 for £1.50 is not such a bad deal...[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0 -

Lidl's 250g yoghurts branded as 'Milbona' are well worth a try, particularly at 33p each.0

Sorry, it is Utterly Butterly. I looked yesterday and I'm sure it was until 7th April.
EDIT: Forgot to add, it seems like a regular thing now, having a "buttery" type spread at 50p. This is the 4th month in a row my local has had it.0 -

That's ok, just discovered they have Can't Believe It's Not Butter as a BOGOF in Sainsburys.
