Waiting to hear from Virgin

Hi, I applied for a Virgin card (balance transfer) a week today on line and I did not receive an instant decision. I know that there guidelines say that if approved, you receive your card in 7 - 10 days, but I would have expected to receive a letter saying yes or no by now.

Anyone else had this ??? Thanks.

Ring them they will complete what they need to do whilst your on the telephone to them.

When i applied for my card, i received a text message 2 weeks after i applied to say that I had been accepted. Took another week and a half to get the card.

The ones that appear at the end of an online application that was referred - it says "we'll get back to you in xxx" or "You'll get your card in xxx".

Although it does say 7-10 days, so that's another three days yet! Normally with MBNA group cards, if it is a referral you need to call them so that an underwriter can chastise you before clicking yay or nay
