well... since they're big horses made of wood, you could just set them alight... ohh, sorry, wrong trojan horse :D

download AVG Free antivirus, that should get rid of them and any other problems you have http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1

hmm... have you tried quarantining them on AVG (if they are showing up on the scan, but no action is taken), or are they already quarantined?

all i can suggest is to check for updates... someone else who knows more about viruses will be able to help.

only other thing is that you could try a different anti virus. if you look on the threads from the last few days there is one on free anti viruses.. AVG and the other one always seem to be the competitors so try the other one.

you need to run AVG in Safe mode

embedded means the files are in use by windows but can be removed in safe mode easily

  • BF suggests arovax which you can get from arovax.com, but not sure what this does! Cue blonde! He stopped swearing after he used it anyway! :rotfl:

Oopps! He just said arovax is a spyware thingy remover. He says AVG is good tho. :T

Agreed what BT said BUT, even after that, they may still be lurking round.

Let us know how you get on and if the removal in safe mode worked (I'll be surprised if it does, BT!!;) ).
