It would seem the best way to make 60 quid a week is to get lots of other people to give their own money making ideas so you can cannibalise them yourself!

Oh, and Nicky46 I think your signature is sailing pretty close to the wind regarding the "touting for business" MSE forum rules.

Mystery Shopping - At the moment I am not earning much but you can earn money or you save money as you get days out or meals out which would have cost you something.

well i for one would be no good at that as i cant even get my web site on to engine search

I am not an expert, but here is my observation. There are more successful SEO and Affiliate experts on here so I hope they can add to, or correct, what I say here.

    Your member profile says that

    http://www.fmliving.co.uk/index.html is your website.

Yet the browser tab shows the name "job works from home".

The source code shows the keywords have all kinds of what I call "junk", not relating to the sparse amount of Body text.

    <META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="www.google.co.uk,business opportunity,work from home,party plan,www.jobworksfromhome.co.uk, new2theuk ,business opportunity,part time,full time,job work from home,work to day,makeup,home Business opportunity, ">

I would question what good using Google's name "in vain" will do you, given the site is supposed to be about perfume.

I am not an expert, as I said before, but "baiting" Google by saying your site may have some info about Google.co.uk, and in fact not saying anything at all about them, is asking for the Google ranking-bar-grey-death.

However, this is not the reason you do not rank.

It is the fact that the website with the same source code as yours, is already rank 1.

    http://jobworksfromhome.co.uk/

    Whose is that?

Google penalises websites that copy an origiinal site's code, and "bans" them.

I guess the FM network supplies you with the site or at least a copy of the code. As such, there is no hope of ever getting indexed by Google, it has penalised the domain from the look of things.

There is a difference in the way Google says "google does not rank this site" and "google rank 0".

The latter indicates it does not think much of a site, but has not banned it, so if the site improves there would be hope yet.

If you want a site that ranks somewhere, you need to get another domain and build up information around what you do, without copying the majority of the source code of some other website.

If you do, make the keywords at least relate to the text on your webpages, at present there is hardly any correspondance, from the keywords at present I would not be able to tell the site was about perfume selling.

Hope the info is of help.

i can only think of 2, and im currently doing them both,

im a care assistant, going to housebound people etc, making breakfast, putting them to bed, etc, normally on the weekend

and cleaning, do about 10 hours a week and take home £65 - £90 depending on the shift (extra for weekends)
  • Just an update on the survey thing. It is obvious that some survey providers are having a bad 2010 as they are just not throwing sufficient surveys around. I've dumped a couple and just concentrate on 3 or 4. However, I've set up a couple of multiple accounts and ficticious identities.

Not masking IP addresses, just pick an address similar to your own and change sex. Use your won surname or one you can bank a cheque from for GTM but better to have 4 decent survey machines churning out different surveys for old/you/men/women.

Sod them that I'm "cheating". I need the money.
