Siting a freezer

Hello all
My new house doesn't have a freezer and I'm trying to work out if I can fit one it - am finding it surprisingly difficult without one!
There is a spare corner but it's next to a radiator. I was wondering if this would affect the freezer at all? I barely ever have the heating on much but will have to a little in winter. Is there a minimum distance I should leave between the freezer and radiator?

don't know about distances, but if it's going to be a problem can you turn that radiator off permanently without affecting the rest of your heating system? The freezer might give off just as much warmth in that area anyway.
Another thought - in previous houses I've kept freezers in sheds, garages (both insulated) and an upstairs spare bedroom.0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
I am moving this thread to the In my home board
thanks
