changing courses, when to tell student finance

ok, 2 questions really about how to minimise any issues with student finance. I am currently studying for a joint degree. I have come to the decision to drop one of my subjects and do a single hons route. I have already applied for my next years funding etc so when do i tell student loans about the course change? Do i leave it til they have my declaration back and all is sorted or will it not make that much diff if i tell them now? Its at same uni etc, just dropping 1 subject
TIA. Just trying to make the process as painless as possible after last years stress!

I assume you aren't restarting?
If so, just inform them by letter or whatever, nothing will change.0 -
Change with your university registry, once thats been changed, download a form called something like "change of course" from the student finance website. Take said form and fill it out, sign and post to student finance. They then write to the uni for confirmation and once your uni confirm it your done!0
