Highly recommend this card if you qualify. We've saved so much money since November already. In fact we travel more on the train. It means we'll be hitting all the freebie entry places in London this spring/summer, in fact the children are fighting over which museum to go to first - Science/Nat History. We'll also be checking out deals and offers on nectar/clubcard.

Don't let them put you off, so many of us are grateful!

Some members should take Thumper's advice: "If you can't say something nice... don't say nothing at all. "
  • Ignore the ungrateful grumblers :p. Thanks for posting. This has reminded me its time to renew our Family railcard. As a previous poster said they are well worth it. We will be travelling to see family in Norfolk, and to Liverpool and Scotland, and the card soon pays for itself. Thanks OP.

Cheers OP, we're going on holiday in April and train fares would cost us a bomb! plus going to the zoo gets rather expensive.

Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.
  • just reading counting the pennies reply and it made me remember i need to renew mine too, this is a brill card, ive no car, dont drive, so rely on trains to take kids somewhere on day trips and holidays. You can save quite alot of money, well worth the small fee if your gonna use it even just twice in the year!:T
  • Who's OP? Lots of people say 'Thanks OP'

Is this another new acronym to learn?
