Verona. Hotel Wanted.

We are going to Verona on 11 Aug for 2 nights (Flying by Ryanair to 'their' Verona Airport which is a 50km journey from the city lol). I will be travelling from the Airport by train so I am looking for a hotel fairly near the Verona railway station. Any hotel ideas please?

I'd recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance!)

We stayed at the Best Western Hotel Firenze Verona which was a short walk from the station - when we arrived with our son there was a mix up on the booking and we were put in a fantastic apartment next door. There were a lot of small hotels in the same street so may be worth searching on Internet hotels of Verona anywhere along there is in walking distance of the station

We stayed over the New Year at the Grand Hotel. It is about a 2 min taxi ride from the station. It is very nice and we had a great time and can recommend the hotel. Check the reviews at the web site below:
