Time Limits on Passport forms?

I am getting a new Passport for my Son as his old has run and i have got a Family Friend to Countersign it and he did that on Feb 22nd but he has not given it back to us yet as he is away himself so will be taking it to the Post office on March 16th for them to Check and send it.

I just wanted to know is there a time limit that a passport form has to be sent if its been dated on 22nd Feb?

Would the Post office still take it on the 16th March with it being signed back on the 22nd Feb or does that not matter?

Check on the passport office website. Given that it is less than month my guess would be 'no problem'.

I was told a month when I did mine a couple of weeks ago. I needed one resigned by counter signature as it was over a month,
