how much to charge lodger?

Hi just wondering how much you guys charge your lodgers?At the mo! im chargeing £225+24 gas elect all in.Do you think this is low i dont really know/care what he earns but i think he got a canny old deal since i work nights 4 days a week then spend 2 nights away at girlfriends each week.

depends on area, size of room, etc. There are many varying factors. Look in your local press as there will be others that are renting out rooms. You can then compare and revise accordingly.
My area rooms between £65-85 per week.0 -

I charge the lodger in the large room £280 pcm and the lodger in the single room £216 pcm. This includes all bills including wireless broadband and cable TV. It does not include food or telephone (which is available if they ask permission).(AKA HRH_MUngo)
