I have since disabled my cd drive in the device manager and done system restore back about a week. Help desperatley needed as even though i have disabled it and stuff its still bouncing in and out. Its driving me mad and i may be unable to suffer it much longer. All help will be much appreciated.

Here’s my two penny’s worth - Check your power connections to the CD. Try changing the cables to the CD etc.., since it might be caused by a loose/faulty connection. My reality check bounced.0

Doesn't really sound like a virus. Do what Indy suggests, it could well be that your CD drive has had it!0
