Thread/attach some fake flowers/lovehearts onto a pair of trainers. Or some silly cheap flip flops. Or daft slippers.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Put odd coloured laces in a pair of shoes. You can get neon coloured laces - put orange in one, and lime or yellow in the other.

jeez - i do hope the school has really good insurance for those who turn up in stiletos or platform shoes - then fall off them and break something! another fund-raising day which i can tell is going to result in tears! as school rules state 'appropriate footwear must be worn'. does it not?

    what about wearing odd shoes?
  • Primark's canvas plain plimsolls are really cheap and you can put your own design on them with fabric paints/glitter/ permanent markers, put in different laces etc, you could stick on pom poms or fake creepy crawlies with super glue, anything really, your girls could be as creative as they want!

As a joke my mum and SIL decorated my dads work boots with sequins and those tiny easter chicks, ribbons and glitter etc- He was in a hurry for work and so just wore them thinking the stuff would fall straight off- it took him all day of scuffing them up for it to all come off in the end so would be fine for 1 day of school.

You could get some of the mary jane crocs from Claire's for £3 (I'm sure sport and soccer had them for really cheap too) and decorate those, as they already have holes would be easy to thread some thick ribbon through and then just glue other stuff in place.
  • stick pom poms onto some wellies. do it with double sided tape if you want to have the shoes back to normal later.
It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'
