We are thinking of getting our first touring caravan.

Is it ok to tow a caravan on a normal car insurance cover i.e. if i was to have a bump while towing the insurance company wont pay out because i did not tell them i have a caravan?

Sorry if this seems like a daft question but I cant find an answer to it.

Thanks

Martin
