As an update from yesterday, I phoned the estate agent marketing the property today. She seems to think that a Letter of comfort would not be issued as this is a full two storey extension. She says that the xtension was granted full planning permission prior to build 3 years ago but no build checks were ever carried out.
Anyone got any ideas of a way ahead with this one now?0 -
I did say in post 9 "You may have to read also Form 6—Completion Certificate"....Give the planning dept of east dumbartonshire council and run it past them........0

In England that could be brought down, at the same time you could get retrospective planning and completions etc. I would really look in to this one before you go ahead. It only has to be made with the wrong colour bricks and its down before you can say cowboy IFA!
