Hi
I would like to use the 'Piggybanking' technique and just wonder what type of bank account will be best? I already have 2 accounts I am happy with, but need one more account, I plan to put £224 ish in each month, but will be taking money out when needed.
what kind of account would be best? an easy access savings account OR a simple current account?
Thanks

Most likely easy access savings account will give you more interest then current account..0

I have been looking at Martins saving account reccomendations... and think I am going to apply for The AA online
"Top Easy Access (min £1): 3% inc. 2.5% bonus
The AA, online, complete access to cash.
The highest rate that you can get from just a £1 balance is from The AA's Internet Extra account, which pays 3% AER, including a fixed 2.5% bonus for twelve months. After a year, the rate drops to 0.5%, so ditch and switch at this time.
You are allowed unlimited withdrawals "
So it sounds perfect for me.
Thanks for your help, very much appreciated
