Hey folks, apologies if this is in the wrong board but it seemed the most appropriate.
I've got a Pionner AVIC-X1 DVD/Sat Nav system but the LCD screen is very very dark. So dark in fact that I can barely see it when shining a torch on it!
I've read up in the manual and I believe it to be the lfuorescent tube in the screen which has gone. I'm really hoping that someone else has experienced this problem or is a whizz with them.
The other problem is that normally, when the screen comes out and flips up it normally sits back in by about 1cm but it's not doing this!
Does anyone know why? Is it related to the tube in the LCD?
And does anyone know how much it will cost me to replace it?
Thanks very much guys,
SS

HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0
