Also remember that, with this offer, there is no "grace period" which some other providers have offered where they would cover such payments out whilst the transfer of the account was going on.
There may be a 3 month interest-free overdraft facility provided. As always though, it's "subject to status".

Haven't been paid (yet) but pretty certain you can ignore it as got the same letter/forms and,
    a) I already get my salary paid into my FlexAccount, so nothing to transfer.
    b) It's none of Nationwide's business whether the other account is closed or not. They only care about the SOs and DDs being transferred across.

You do not need to pay in your salary...I have done this successfully twice before.

    Interesting.

I already had a long-standing Flex account with an agreed, but unused, overdraft. The instructions they sent recently included the need to have funds in both Flex and the account from which I am transferring so that payments could be made from either account depending on transfer times!

I got my customer number today via the post - Easy to use website, quite good. I've activated a e-savings account, they say it takes 5 days to show up.

Does anyone know how many e-savings accounts you can have. I'd like a couple for different types of savings.

    Thanks
If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)

kp83 - The letter doesn't seen to say we won't pay you the £75 if you don't transfer salary etc. I read it that they think you're transferring your account to Nationwide, if you are you need to transfer you credits before closing your old account or you won't get your money to spend. I'd ignore it as many posters have already said.

mrchagle - I think you can ahve as many esave accounts as you like. I've got about 10, none have them have much money in. My grandma used to put money in a tin each week for electric, rates etc, I use my esaves the same 1 for holidays, 1 to save for christmas, 1 for car insurance etc. I've changedthe details I see online from account numbers to what the accounts are for. I try and save £100 a month fro chrismas so one is called 'xmas £100' - this reminds me how to put in each month as well. How much I'd like to put in anyway.

    Switch to Nationwide

The £75 offer to switch your current account has now closed. However, you can still use our easy online Account Transfer Service to switch your current account to us. It could take as little as 3 weeks to transfer all of your Direct Debits, standing orders and bill payments.

You can have numerous e-Savings accounts?

I have an e-Savings Plus account, which i know is different. It says you can only have 1.
