student registration number

when are you given this,my daughter has just received form for accomadation and it asks for registration number,

The only 'standard' student number is the UCAS number. It could be a university specific student number, which she probably won't have been given. There's probably no harm leaving it blank, if it's something they really need they'll phone you.0

which uni is she at? I know when i started sheffield hallam... there was a number that was on the front of the envelope's or something to the sort, that i had to fill in on forms. hope this helps!Member of the 20p Savers Club: £2.60 saved since 24/04/06

I am at Preston and only got my student registration "G" number when I enrolled. It is printed on your library card. She is not actually officially a student until she enrols, so I don't think she will get it until then. Leave it blank and let them know in September when she enrols.0 -

I am a mature student, so I don't live on campus. I have younger friends on the course who say although campus accomodation is convinient, it is expensive and they find the shared house option cheaper. However private landlords can be a pain sometimes, so it's swings and roundabouts really.
It is a great uni, really friendly and a fantastic mix of people. I am sure your daughter will love it.0
