Yes they are light blue and have the black strip across the top. The callsave was limited and only available for a month.... no longer there (they brought out callsave manager II which has the debit card, I does not have a debit card)

I have the Callsave one it sounds the same then.

It was on the BBC website that Virgin as they now have a banking license plan to launch a current account (I am pretty sure this year) and it will bear a fee even when only ever in credit.

Dont know if Virgin definitely will get their hands on NR's portfolio, I read they were thinking of selling the branches of Lloyds TSB Scotland and RBS in England to NR so they can expand without a takeover????

    Thanks Savagej - interesting....

One would have to think it may be best to get a NR account now, then *if* they do merge with a bank or whatever, at least we'll already be in there - so say Virgin buy it, they will be harsh scorers, so this was we're already "in" so to speak.....
