Places to eat in Coventry

Hi all
I've searched and found a couple of Coventry related threads, but not what I'm looking for. So...
Looking for somewhere cheap (or maybe that should be good value?) and fairly close to Coventry Travelodge to eat on the evening of Saturday 13th March...realistically I should think we'll arrive between around 7-8pm, though it may be earlier or later. Two adults, though one usually has a child size appetite
Not looking for anywhere "foreign", or fast food. Wheelchair access essential!
I'll keep checking until the 12th, so I'll (hopefully) be aware if any useful vouchers/offers come up in the mean time!
Thanks all :T

Is the Travelodge in the city centre?
When I lived in Cov I always used to love eating at Browns
http://www.brownsindependentbar.com/
Their food is delicious and plentiful and pretty reasonably priced too! You can't reserve tables though so for a Saturday night you might want to get in earlier rather than later, especially as its also much loved by students and could be pretty busy.0 -
Thanks!
Travelodge is right next to the shopping centre, from what I've read I believe it used to be a place called Leofric? It only opened last year.0 -
In Coventry city centre I would recommend:
Browns for it's variety
Tumeric Gold for it's amazing Indian Food and atmosphere
Kakooti for a lovely intimate romantic italian
Pizza Express and Nandos (self explanatory!)
Eden also has a good variety and lovely food
Hope that helps.0
