Static Caravan Boiler advice

Hi All.
I forgot to get the boiler drained down late last year and as a result we found out in mid december that the caravan was saturated in Water (Gas has not been on since summer last year so I assume one of the pipes leading to the boiler have burst due to extreme cold temperatures)
I am wanting to get quotes for the repair however as i am only young (22 yr old) I am concerned that tradesmen I contact are going to pull the wool over my eyes so to speak and I do not want to get ripped off.
I am after a service/expert that will come out and inspect the boiler to see what needs doing and what doesn't and to go give a rough repair price. If anyone is wondering I am after something like you see on BBCs 'Rogue Traders' where they hire an expert and he advises what needs to be done/looked out for etc.
I really hope that makes sense. Will be very grateful for any help or advice offered.
Thanks

Why don't you speak to Gas Safe. Remember that the gas supply for a static caravan is bottled, not mains. Therefore the Gas Safe Fitter needs to have the appropriate qualification to work on bottled gas appliances. A Gas safe Fitter that is ONLY qualified to work on natural gas can't work on boittled gas appliances. Gas Safe are here http://www.gassaferegister.co.ukEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

You need to check the back of the engineers gas safe card to be sure.
Also just because he is LPG registered, doesn't mean he can work on LPG in all types of dwellings.
Mine only covers Residential Park Homes and permanent dwellings, ie I cannot work on holiday caravans, boats, mobile caravanettes etc etc.0
